Zagar's small multiple spindle heads range from 3 inch x 3 inch up to 8 inch x 8 inch. If your application requires a larger head size, we recommend moving up to our large head series or a customized solution.
Zagar multiple spindle heads are available in square, diagonal, and rectangular configurations and are engineered to help shops maximize drilling and tapping output. These heads allow you to drill and tap anywhere from 1 to over 200 holes in a single operation, significantly reducing cycle time and increasing productivity.
Thanks to Zagar’s gearless design, spindles can be configured in virtually any random pattern with the closest spindle centers (hole to hole) in the industry.

Yes! Zagar's gearless head technology allows us to create any configuration and pattern you need for your solution.
How many holes can a gearless head drill at once?
Zagar can drill and/or tap anywhere from 1 to hundreds of holes in a single operation, including patterns with close centers.
Can Zagar build a custom machine around the multiple spindle head?
Zagar can build a custom machine solution to accommodate your multiple spindle head. Also, depending on size and limitations, some Zagar multi-heads can be mounted to your existing mills.
